Our retail network comprises 61 sites across England and Wales, managed and owned by us. Our sales revenues exceed £300m per year, and we have a workforce of 821 individuals, with 294 of them based in Wales.

As we continue to expand, we have exciting plans for the future. This includes the development of our existing network, as well as the acquisition of new sites. Our goal is to own and operate 300 sites within the next 5 years. Therefore, as our estate grows, we require more team members to join us.

What would my main responsibilities be as a sales assistant at Ascona?

· Provide a fantastic customer service experience

· Be helpful and polite to all customers and colleagues.

· Be an all rounder - Cash handling, use of the till, stock replenishment, cleaning duties, ordering stock.

· Sell products according to policies and procedures E.g. Challenge 25.

· Be flexible to cover shifts

Lone working - Must be over 18

Needs to be flexible to cover sickness

Previous retail experience would be an advantage, however, full training will be provided.

The position is subject to an enhanced DBS check.

We are a large forecourt/shop site in Nuneaton established staff are a friendly, motivated forward-thinking team who help and support each other to ensure that site is merchandised and well presented for each day's trading.We have Costa coffee and hot food to go which is baked on site as well as an extensive range of alcohol, grocery, chilled tobacco, car care ect items.

Weekend work Saturday and Sunday morning 6am to 1.30pm. However,there is opportunity for extra hours within the week. Flexibility to be able to cover all shifts as it is a 24-hour site is an advantage I am looking for someone who is willing to cover night shifts and midday shifts as and where necessary. Experience in retail is preferred but training and online courses will be available to the right candidate.  References will be required for this position.

Shift patterns are 8 hours across mornings, afternoons and nights 16 hours basic but there is opportunity to do more hours, flexibility, reliability and a can do attitude is essential as this is a very busy site so would suit an active person. Some moderate heavy lifting involved, shelf filling, date checking, cleaning as well as till work is all inclusive in this job. Experience in retail is an advantage but training given to suitable candidates. We are close to bus routes but own transport would be an advantage
