Leading forecourt operator recognised as one of the fastest growing businesses in the UK
Two forecourts also named as winners at industry-leading Forecourt Trader 2024 awards

Ascona Group ('Ascona'), the 7th largest UK independent forecourt operator and one of the fastest growing companies in Wales for the last three years, is thrilled to announce that it has been included in the prestigious UK Fast Growth Index for 2024.
The Group has been recognised as one of the fifty fastest-growing businesses in Wales for the fourth consecutive year, a significant achievement for one of over 5.6 million businesses nationwide. Ascona's final position within the list will be revealed at the UK Fast Growth Awards at an event in London on Thursday, 28th November 2024.
The Group is also proud to announce that two of its forecourts have been announced as winners at the industry-leading 2024 Forecourt Trader awards. Ascona's Springfield Road site in Aberdeen was named Regional Forecourt Trader of the Year in Scotland up to 4mlpa. Elsewhere, the recently redeveloped Machynlleth service station in North Wales was also named Regional Forecourt Trader of the Year in the West Country & Wales up to 4mlpa.
The award for Ascona's Welsh forecourt follows a transformative £3m redevelopment programme at Machynlleth that was completed in 2023, in line with Ascona's strategy to develop the next generation of roadside retail destinations.
