Ascona recognised as one of the fastest growing businesses in Wales
Forecourt operator places 28th in Wales in the 2024 UK Fast Growth Index
Ascona Group (‘Ascona’), the7th largest UK independent forecourt operator and one of the fastest growing companies in Wales for the last four years, is thrilled to announce that it has been named as the 28th fastest-growing business in Wales by the UK Fast Growth Index for 2024, the programme which identifies the fastest growing companies in the UK.
This achievement, the fourth time that Ascona has been included in the annual Growth Index, highlights the Group’s capacity for growth and innovation, as well as the significant impact Ascona has had on the local communities it serves and the Welsh economy.
While fast growth firms only represent a small fraction of the UK’s mix of companies, they contribute significant proportion of new jobs in the economy every year. They are also often at the cutting edge of their industries, bringing innovative products, services and processes to the market and, as a result, which in turn make a tremendous contribution to the economy.
The UK Fast Growth Index identifies the fifty fastest-growing companies in the seven UK regions and nations – London, the Midlands and East of England, the North of England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, South of England, and Wales.
